from the author: “ ‘Mansfield Park’ is the final installment in my Panic Trilogy of book-length works published in 2020-21. While each book is a standalone work, readers will find similarities in theme and voice, as well their shared sparse form. I wrote "Mansfield Park" after an experience I had visiting friends in Pittsburgh a few years ago, wherein a sudden anxiety attack turned into an ecstatic experience that led me to produce the poem.”

Jack Meriwether (b. 1992) is a poet and performance artist from Ohio currently living in Brooklyn, New York. They curate Bring Your Own Body, an ongoing reading and performance series hosted in their apartment since the summer of 2018. In 2020, they published a series of book-length poems titled The Panic Trilogy from The Garden Press.
